Found in Costa Rica in cloud forests at elevations of 1600 to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying alternate, distichous, net-like venation, elliptical, acute, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a terminal, simple, terete, to 6" [15 cm] long, successsively single to 7 flowered inflorescence with triangular, apiculate floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate flowers.
