Common Name Sanchez's Telipogon

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Morona-Santiago province of Ecuador at elevations around 800 to 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an elongate, branching near the apex stem enveloped completely by imbricating sheaths carrying elliptical, acute, basally narrowing intothe sheath below, apiulcate leaves that blooms on a terminal, terete, peduncle to 4.8" [12 cm] long, 7.2" [18 cm] long overall, successively 1 to 3, to 10 flowered inflorescence with triangular, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts
