Common Name The Very Bristly Telipogon

Flower Size .84 to .92" [2.1 to 2.3 cm]

Found in Costa Rica in oak forests at elevations of 1500 to 1700 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls carrying narrowly elliptic, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, to 4 to 5.4" [10 to 13.5 cm] long, successively 2, 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence carrying resupinate, yellow flowers with garnet colored veins narrower on the petals wider on the lip and the column and bristles wine red.
