Found in Ecuador at elevations around 1800 to 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with short stems that branch from the base and carrying narrowly obovate, acute, apiculate, narrowing towards the base leaves that blooms in the winter and early spring on a terminal, erect, compressed, 3.6" [9 cm] long, 1 to 2 successively 3 to 5 flowered, racemose inflorescence
