Found in Costa Rica in premontane rainforests on small twigs at elevations around 1000 to 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 2, distichous, narrowly ligulate-elliptic, acute, sometimes absent at flowering leaves that blooms in the spring on a racemose, terete, branched, flattened, 2 to 5.6" [5 to 14 cm] long, successively several flowered inflorescence enveloped by 3 to 4, triangular acute bracts.
