Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 1800 to 2450 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing caespitose epiphyte with a short, erect, leafy throughout stem enveloped by distichous, imbricating, conduplicate leaf sheaths carrying elliptic, acute leaves that blooms in the summer, fall and winter on a terminal, erect, terete, peduncel with 1 internode, .6" [1.5 cm] long, successively single to 4 flowered inflorescence with triangular, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
