Common Name The Pinar de Monte Cristi Tetramicra

Found in Cuba as a small to medium sized epi-lithophyte with erect, remote, short stems carrying 2 to 4, rigid, fleshy, subfalcate, subulate, acute leaves that blooms on a terminal, slender, long, laxly, successively 16 flowered inflorescence with membraneous, triangular-ovate, acute floral bracts.
CAUTION Many references including Kew place this species as synonomous with T ekmanii, I have kept them separate pending better references.
