Common Name The Small Flowered Tetramicra
Flower Size .5" [1.25 cm]
Found in Jamaica and Haiti along steep stream banks at lower elevations as a miniature to medium sized terrestrial to lithophyte with 1 to 2, rigid, fleshy, grey green, terete channeled above, acute leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on a hair-like, 14.4" [36 cm] long, successively 8 to 10 flowered inflorescence carrying faintly fragrant flowers.
Kew and some other references place T urbaniana as a synonym of this species, For now I have left them separate pending better references.
