Found in the Dominican Republic without location as a medium sized, warm growing, rhizomatous epiphyte or lithophyte with conduplicate, ensiform, oblong-ovate when flat, acute to acuminate, serrulate leaves that blooms on a terminal, terete, racemsoe, sublaxly several flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts and carrying showy flowers with purple tepals and a megenta lip.
