Flower Size .62 to 1.2" [1.3 to 3 cm]

Found in Victoria and South Australia at elevations of 10 to 250 meters in heathy forest, heathlands, mallee shrublands and swamps as a miniature to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a flexuous stem carrying 1 to 2, cauline stem bracts and a single, long narrowly linear, often filiform leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 5.2 to 18" [13 to 45 cm] long, 1 to 14 flowered inflorescence with a single, sterile bract.
