Found in south Western Australia at elevations of sea level to 350 meters in coastal and near coastal forests and woodlands as a small to large sized, cold growing terrestrial in varied soils, around light scrub on ridges with an elengated stem carrying a single, apical, glabrous, ovate-lanceolate leaf that blooms in the spring in nature on a terminal, erect, racemose, 8 to 30" [20 to 75 cm] long, 2 to 15 flowered inflorescence.
