Common Name or Meaning The Large Pseudobulb Thelasis

Found in penninsular Malaysia and Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 200 to 3000 meters as a small sized, hot growing orchid with ovoid, taller than wide pseudobulbs carrying 2, a single short, and a single long, apical, erect, narrowly oblong, broadly pointed, gradually narrowing to the base leaves that blooms in the late summer on a basal, erect, to 8" [20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with many flowers open at any one time.
