Common Name The Hirsute Thelymitra - The Custard Orchid

Flower Size 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]

Found in Western Australia at elevations of 50 to 300 meters in winter wet sites in open forests and woodlands as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid with a stout stem carrying a single, small to 3.6 to 4" [9 to 10 cm] long, white hairy on both sides , ovate-obovate to ovate-oblong leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 12 to 24" [30 to 60 cm] long, 5 to 20 flowered inflorescence
