Flower Size

Found in west Sumatra without locational data as a medium to large sized, climbing sometimes branching epiphyte with elliptic in cross-section stems carrying lanceoalte to strap-shaped, narrowing a bit towards the apex, green and in youth sparsely speckled with dull violet leaves that blooms on 2 often superposed, peduncle thin basally, thickening and flattening towards the apex, pale yellowish green, to 7.4" [18.5 cm] long, rachis fleshy, flattened, rectangular in cross-section, shiny pale green, 2.6" or more [6.5 cm or more] long, succcessively single, many flowered inflorescence with spaced, triangular, acute floral bracts carrying fragrant flowers.
