Found in Kalimantan and Sabah Borneo in mossy hill forests at elevations around 158 to 450 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with spreading, scrambling, branching stems carrying linear to narrowly elliptic, thick, stiff, green to red, often suffused with dark purple, brown or dark red, acute, sometimes minutely bilobed leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on several, arising from anywhere on the stem, sometimes superposed, peduncle .08 to 6.8" [2 to 17 cm] long, slender, wiry, broadening below the rachis, rachis to 1" [2.5 cm] long, swollen, sporadically single flowered inflorescence with crowded, basally clasping rachis, ovedrlapping, ovate-triangular, keeled, free section falcate, conduplicateshorter than the ovvary floral bracts and carrying ephemeral, often non-resupinate, sometimes lemon scented flowers
