Found in Java and Sumatra at elevations around 1220 to 1525 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with an elongate stem carrying narrowly oblong, obtuse, somewhat narrowing towards the apex, shortly bilobed apically, lobes obtuse, with a short mucro between, fleshy leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a often two from an internode, peduncle 3.4 to 6" [8.5 to 15 cm] long, 4 tubular sheathed, rachis zig zag, to 8.8" [22 cm] long, bracted, to 15.2" [38 cm] long overall, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with triangular, flattened, keeled floral bracts and carrying fleshy flowers.
