Common Name The Gombak Thrixspermum [A hill in western Sumatra]

Found in Sumatra at elevations around 900 to 1800 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate, climbing, rigid, somewhat oval in cross-section stem carrying spreading, oblong, obliquely obtuse and bilobed,not cordate basally leaves that blooms in the spring often with two from an internode, curvy, peduncle to .6" [1.5 cm] long, 4 short, tubular sheathed, rachis almost covered comletely by the concave, triangular, acute floral bracts, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence .
