Found in southern Sumatra at lower elevations as a hot to warm, pendulous growing epiphyte with a pendulous, flattened stem carrying strap-shaped, green with reddish markings, recurved apically, equally apically bilobed leaves that blooms on a green spotted with purple, peduncle elliptic in cross-section, 1.4 to 2.4" [3.5 to 6 cm] long, rachis thickened, 2.6 to 3" [6.2 to 7.5 cm] long, successively single, many flowered inflorescence.
