Found in penninsular Malaysia and Sabah Borneo at elevations around 330 meters a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with spreading to pendulous, leafy throughout, cylindrical, terete stems carrying 4 to 6, descending, slightly tapering towards the blunt apex, green, lightly purple spotted in youth, fleshy, terete leaves that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, basal, descending, cylindrical, green to purple, extending to 1.52" [3.8 cm] long, successively single to 20 flowered inflorescence with crowded, facing in all directions, triangular, acute, thick, stiff, green to purple floral bracts and carrying ephemeral, non-resupinate flowers.
