Found in the Philippines as a miniature to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with terete stems enveloped by persistent leaf sheaths and carrying 2 ranked, oblong, strap-shaped, obtuse, slightly unequally notched apically leaves that blooms in the late summer and fall on a 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm] long, few to 12 flowered inflorescence with obtuse, apically encircling the stem floral bracts.
