Common Name The Shining Thrixspermum [refers to the leaves]

Found in west Sumatra at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a terete, leafy stem carrying oblong, obtuse, shiny, fleshy keeled beneath leaves that blooms , unequally bilobed apically, narrowing towards the base leaves that blooms on a more or less erect, longer than the leaves, peduncle terete, glabrous, few sheathed, rachis flattened,4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, many flowered inflorescence with obliquely triangular, obtuse, 2 ranked, a little shorter than the ovaries floral bracts.
