Found in Sulawesi in pine and mossy montane forests at elevations of 1100 to 1400 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short, stout stem carrying 2 rows of oblong leaves that blooms in the fall on a threadlike, 2.4" [6 cm] long, stalk the ends in a short, bract covered rachis that produces successively single, to 12 flowered inflorescence.
