Found in penninsular Malaysia on limestone hills at elevations around 230 to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect to spreading, apex upturned, compressed, leafy stem carrying about 7, distichously spreading, strap-shaped, channeled, tapering towards the base, stiff, leathery, obtuse, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a opposite the leaf, several at a time, spreading, peduncle to .76 to 1.8" [1.9 to 4.5 cm] long, gradually lengthening, gradually widening towards the apex, slightly compressed, cylindrical, green, 2 bracted at base and a third midway, rachis, cylindrical, .24 to 1" [.6 to 2.5 cm] long, olive-green to brown-green, 1.48 to 2.8" [3.7 to 7 cm] long overall successively single to 30 flowered inflorescence with crowded, facing in all directions, broadly triangular, thick, stiff, olive-green with brown specks floral bracts.
