Common Name The Broad Stem Thrixspermum

Found in Johor state penninsular Malaysia and Borneo as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a pendulous stem carrying 5, fleshy, blunt, somewhat basally twisted broad base, sheaths flattened and sharply keeled leaves that blooms on a slender peduncle that is .8" [2 cm] long, rachis slightly thickened, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with flowers that have salmon colored sepals with a scarlett, white tipped becoming yellowish towards the base.
