Common Name The Beautiful Thrixspermum

Found in Pahang state of penninsular Malaysia and Sarawak Borneo in heath, riparian, mixed swamp and lowland forests at elevations of 25 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 6, unequally bilobed and narrowing gradually below into the base leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on a 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm] long peduncle, rachis short, successively single, to 10 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers with yellow tepals densely blotched with purple except at the base and a yellow with a few purple spots outside lip with white clubbed hairy side lobes
