Common Name Raciborski's Thrixspermum [Polish Botanist around 1900]

Found in Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and the Moluccas at elevations of 400 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing, branch epiphyte with a stem carrying lanceolate, unequally bilobed apically, mucronate, dark green more or less blotched dark violet leaves that are .4" [1 cm] apart and blooms in the fall on a longer than the leaves, 8" [20 cm] long, slender, slightly flattened, broadening a bit apically, rachis gradually extending, successively few flowered inflorescence carrying short lived flowers
