Common Name Ridley's Thrixspermum [English Botanist and Director of Singapore Botanical Garden Mid 1800's to mid 1900's]
Flower Size .64 to .96" [1.6 to 2.4 cm]
Found in Thailand, Malaysia and Borneo in mixed lowland forests at elevations of sea level to 400 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphtye with a 4" long stem carrying lanceolate, often purple suffused and or spotted, blunt and unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms spring and fall on an axillary, 1.4 to 3" [3.5 to 7.5 cm] long, bracteate, successively single, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
