Found in the Philippines on mossy tree branches at elevations of 600 to 2150 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, short stem enveloped by persistent leaf sheaths and carrying 2 ranked, very leathery, oblong-lanceolate unequally bilobed apically, toothed margined leaves and blooms on an erect, 3.2" [8 cm] long, slender, smooth, successively single, many flowered inflorescence .
