Common Name The Sichuan Tipularia - In China Tong Ju Lan

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Gansu, southern Shaanxi, northwest Sichuan and northwest Yunnan in forests at elevations of 3300 to 4000 meters as a small sized, cold grtowing terrestrial with a narrowly cylindric, tapering slightly towards the base, 1 to 2 noded pseudobulb carrying a broadly ovate, 3 veined, acuminate to obtuse apically, rounded to subtruncate basally in to the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, [12 to 22 cm] long, 5 to 9 flowered inflorescence with 1 to 2, long, tubular sheaths and deltoid, minute floral bracts.
