Found in Haiti in montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect to nutant, terete, simple to branched stem enveloped completely by leaf sheaths and carrying many, coriaceous, distichous, conduplicate, linear-ovate, acute, with serrate margins, cuneate below into the base leaf that blooms on a terminal, short, single flowered inflorescence with infundibuliform, carinate, caudate floral bracts.
