Found in the Norfolks Island, New Caledonia and Vanuatu in mainly rocky soil at elevations of 100 to 600 meters in rainforests as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with branching stems without pseudobulbs carrying variable in shape, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, very short to .4" [1 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence
