An epiphytic warm to hot growing species found in Colombia at elevations of 100 to 1800 meters that flowers on a short, lateral, single flowered inflorescence arising in the summer in Bogata'. Cited as a synonym of Trichocentrum longicalcaratum but I feel there is sufficient differences to allow the separation
