Common Name The Short Spur Trichocentrum

Flower Size 1.5" [3.75 cm]

Found in Junin department of Peru at elevations around 1500 to 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to a very short, apically thickened stem carrying a single, linear, acute, more or less narrowing below into the sessile, conduplicate base leaves that blooms on a lateral, basal, very short, peduncle to .88" [1.1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 2 loose, broad bracts below.
