Found in Peru in very coldand wet cloud forests at elevations around 2500 to 3000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with elliptic-oblanceolate, attenuate, acute leaves with finely pubescent margins that blooms in the spring on a slender, pedunculate, .6" [1.5 cm] long, few, successively single flowered racemose inflorescence with ovate-triangular, nearly imbricate, basally clasping floral bracts and carrying resupinate flowers
