Common Name The Two Flowered Trichocentrum

Flower Size 1.35" [3.4 cm]

Found in Costa Rica low on mossy tree trunks at elevations around 1000 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a minute, round pseusobulb eenveloped by several distichous, imbricate sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, light green, oblong-elliptioc to obovate-oblong, acute, minutely notched apically, gradually narrowing below intothe conduplicate base leaf that blooms in the spring on to 4, basal, descending, 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm] long, green, 2 flowered inflorescence carrying herbaceous scented flowers.
