Found in Costa Rica without locality as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid, compressed pseduobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms in the fall on a lateral, basal, [5.5 to 6.5 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
