Common Name Hoege's Trichocentrum [Original Collector of species 1800's]

Found in Veracruz, Guerrero and Oaxaca states of Mexico in oak forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with minute pseuodbulbs enveloped byt sheaths and carrying a single, ovate, obtuse, grooved above, keeled below, narrowing below into the short, narrow, longitudinally folded petiolate base leaf that blooms on several, short, basal, horizontally spreading, single flowered inflorescence.
