Common Name or Meaning The Mt Kinabalu Trichoglottis

Flower Size .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm]

Found in Borneo in hill and lower montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1700 meters as a small to large sized, warm to cool epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped completely by leafless and leaf bearing sheaths and carrying narrowly elliptic to oblong-elliptic, acute to acuminate, asymetrical and at times unequally bidentate, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on fasciculate, sessile, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence with minute, scale like floral bracts.
