Found in Thailand, Laos and Yunnan province of China on tree trunks in montane forests at elevations of 700 to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an ascending rigid, sometimes branching stem carrying many distichous, narrowly oblong, leathery, obtuse and slightly unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late spring on an ascending, axillary, slender, 2 to 3.2" [5 to 8 cm] long, laxly 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts.
