Found from Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, Guyana?, Surinam and Brazil in lowland forests at altitudes around 50 to 500 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with cylindrical, curved pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, triangular in cross-section, acute, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms on a pendant, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence
