Found in Sabah Borneo in primary montane forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect, slightly compressed, leafy to the apex stem carrying horizontally spreading, ligulate, very stiff, leathery, green, slightly and unequally bilobed apically, rounded, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later winter on a lateral, emerging from the node opposite a leaf, sessile, provided with 1 to 2 basalk scales, rachis .08" [2 mm] long, thick, fleshy, pale green, densely 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence.
