Flower Size 1/2" [1.3 cm]

A tall, hot to warm growing monopodial epiphyte found in Papua and New Guinea at elevations of sealevel to 800 meters on tree trunks and high in large trees of rainforest and coastal forest with a pendent,woody towards the base, leafy in the apical part stem carrying fleshy, distichous, lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall on a lateral, opposite the leaf base, peduncle .06 to .08" [1.5 to 2 mm] long, 1" [2.5 cm] long, sub-sessile, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with the wide-open, fleshy, fragrant flowers held close to the the stem.
