Common Name The Simple Trichoglottis [refers to the simple unlobed lip]

Flower Size .4 to .44" [1 to 1.2 cm]

Found in Sumatra at elevations around 1200 to 1600 meters as a medium to large sized, cool growing epiphyte with a pendulous, sometimes branching, apically upturned stem carrying oblong-elliptic, unequally and obtusely bilobed, with a short spike in between leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on about 1 to 4 from a single point, all along the stem, almost sessile, rachis zig-zag, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with 2 ranked, minute triangular floral bracts and carrying fleshy flowers.
