Found in Sabah & Sarawak Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations of 1100 to 2100 meters as a small to large sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect stems carrying, distichous, very thick, rigid, leathery, narrowly elliptic, unequally bilobed leaves that blooms on an erect, through the leaf bases opposite the leaves, short, rather dense, several flowered inflorescence.
