Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Lesser Sunda Islands in hill forests on limestone at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with horizontal becoming pendant stems carrying many oblong to lanceolate, acute, shortly brown pubescent leaves that blooms in the fall, arising from the nodes, very short, brown pubescent, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence and carrying short-lived flowers
