Common Name Teysmann's Trichotosia [Dutch Botanist in Indonesia 1800's]

Found in penninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo at elevations 20 to 1300 as a giant sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with close set, pendulous, elliptic in cross-section stems carrying opbliquely lanceolate, acute, shortly brown hairy leaves that blooms in the spring on limply pendulous, brown hairy, to 12" [30 cm] long, to 18 flowered inflorescence with ovate, concave, fleshy, hairy, floral bracts and with .68" [1.7 cm] between each flower
