Common Name The Single Flowered Trichotosia

Found in Borneo and New Guinea in lower montane primary forests at elevations of 1100 to 1500 meters as a medium to large sized, cool growing epiphyte or on roadbanks as a terrestrial with erect stems densely leafy on the upper half, them stem, sheaths and leaves are mostly glabrous, narrowly linear, distichois, acute, narrwoing below in to the sessile abse leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on several, lateral, sessile, single flowered inflorescence holding the flower close to the stem.
