Common Name or Meaning The Dressed Trichotosia [refers to the furry back side to the sepals and petals]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in penninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra in lowland forests and foothills as a giant sized, hot growing epiphyte with very long, pendulous stems carrying lanceolate, acute, rufous pubescent leaves that are 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] apart and blooms in the fall on a densly long-pubescent, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long, fractiflex rachis, few to several flowered inflorescence with ovate, red apically, green basally floral bracts and has flowers that do not open widely and are pubescent on the outside.
