Found in the Philippines on the island of Mindanao as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a stout, simple, entirely leafy stem carrying numerous, distichous, lorate, fleshy, abruptly rounded-retuse, unequally bilobed apically, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, suberect, loosely paniculate below, short, few flowered branches, rachis to 9.2" [23 cm] long, several flowered overall with minute, triangular, clasping floral bracts and carrying small, subfleshy flowers streaked with dark brown on greenish yellow.
