Common Name Zollinger's Trichoglottis [German Orchid Enthusiast later 1800's]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in northern Borneo in lowland forests at elevations around 400 meters as a large sized, hot growing epiphyte with clusters of pendent, somewhat zig-zag, elongate stems carrying broad, oblong, undulate margined, unequally bilobed apically, basally clasping, dark green leaves that blooms in the winter on 2 to 3, at nodes opposite the leaves, single flowered but with up to three at any one time at each node and carrying slightly fragrant flowers
